That is a slightly high number. Anything under 200 is great and is not considered diabetic. Watch your carbs and keep the baby on a diet. Babies are Carb magnets. The best baby magnets are born upwards of 10 ponds. Once born, they suffer from sugar withdrawal. Not good for the baby. No concentrated sugars, milk has a lot of hidden sugar, fruit juices, um..candy of course, chips potatoes, breads, the white stuff.

You could be type 2 diabetic which could be controlled by diet.  My mom is type 2 diabetic, had much higher levels, they put her on medicine and when she lost some weight and changed her diet, they took her off the medicine.  She has to watch her sugar and carb intake.  Also, daily exercise will help lower levels.

I don't know the answer to this, but looks like the other ladies know what they are talking about.  I just wanted to wish you luck on your 3 hour!

I was told that under 140 is good, 140-180 is questionable and will usually require the three hour glucose test for follow-up, and above 180 is bad news.

Was this with the 1h test?  If so, a number between 140-200 means that more tests are required.  If the value if >200 then most doctors will consider you diabetic.  150 is on the lower end of the range that requires more tests.
