What you crave normally means your body needs something. Ice is a sign of anemia but after checking my iron my doctor said it is also a sign that you need water. Even if you drunk plenty of fluids your body may want more.
I will try hopefully it'll just be a pregnancy thing..
Yep. Sign of anemia. Even after my anemia was addressed, I still kept my ice habit. As stated above,
the only concern is that it's bad for your teeth. Try to quit if possible. I have finally been able to quit...

I used to crave ice when I had anemia lack of iron these ladies are right...also careful with your teeth see a dentist halfway through for a cleaning at 20 weeks and because of the ice on top of that your teeth are more sensitive in pregnancy
With my first pregnancy I had to have a cup of soda and ice everyday, drink the soda and chomp on the ice, it was my thing! This time not so much ice chomping cuz I stopped drinking soda due to heartburn..:(
loveyou4ever, chewing ice is a red flag sign of anemia.
When a doc says your iron is "good" that can mean "low normal" and still give you the cravings.
Anemia is very common in pregnancy - and with women who crave ice, even if they "test" okay for anemia, taking increased iron usually makes the cravings go away.
Sighns of anemia is more like if she was craving dirt, chalk things in that nature. Ice it perfectly fine since its basically water

Take your iron supplements. Ice craving can be a sign of anemia.
