The best germ-busting advice still applies during pregnancy: wash your hands regularly. This is probably the best way of preventing getting sick,suggests Taraneh Shirazian, MD, an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. Carry hand sanitizer for when youre in public places and cant wash. Encourage family members to keep their hands clean, too.
