I don't know where you found this but it's priceless. If you don't mind, I'm going to send it to my daughter-in-law. She gets a lot of lip about her lupus, how can she possibly teach school if she's so sick? Should she be doing this or that? They either don't believe she has a problem or they treat her like she's going to break any moment.
I understand completely. Tell her to please know she is not alone. I was even treated at my nail salon by the owner like I was contagious. She was showing off her new grandbaby and brought it by everyone but passed me on purpose. The next time I saw her I took the time and explained what Lupus is. I guess we have to do our best to not let it hurt our feelings but rather teach others about it.
Love the sign...and it is so true!!! Doesn't seem to matter if I even try and give some small info handouts to a few people I am close to, they just don't get it...I thank God every day for my hubby, the one person I know who totally "gets it"!! Thanks for giving me a laugh...

Calamfred, I am so glad you have the support of your husband. My fiance' is awesome, loving and caring and I don't know what I would do without him.
Trudie, I posted this on my facebook too. Got lots of questions what it meant at first. We have to teach people we are not just imagining everything we go through. I still know a few people whom I believe think I exagerate things.
