Perhaps a juvenile Golden Front Woodpecker. Looks very similar to our Northern Flickers except for the coloring. A male Golden Front would have a red splotch on the top of his head. Since this bird doesn't have much "gold" on it's head or chest, I'd say it's this year's youngster.
