interesting!! I googled it too, says its a cat like animal. origin Madagascar closely related to mongoose family.
I've never seen this animal before, where exactly did you encounter it? do they belong to you're zoo?

They were next to the Mongooses too... and they are in the film Madagascar. And No, I went to Marwell zoo near my house for the day... :) And saw them there along with Mongooses. and other animals, was a really goood day :)
