When I went to finally see my g-grandson last week, I could not believe how red his hair was. Orange red, just like my son's. (his grandfather) In his other pictures, I was sure it was strawberry blonde like mine, but in person, he's a glowing red-head. It's a shame that I live over a hundred miles away from him, or I would be holding him everyday. Somehow, holding new life, puts everything else into perspective. There is nothing more joyous that the feel of a new life and that little baby sweet smell. It made my week. I am grateful to God that this little boy is healthy and happy with his mommy, instead of a stranger's family, when she thought she would be able to give him up for adoption. I am adopted and wasn't told until I was 51 years old, so it's a touchie subject for me.
