The two cloudy streaks you see deep in the eye are posterior capsule opacities caused by the maturity of the cataract.  In people they can laser those off.  As we did not have that capability, he will simply see through those lines.  

The rings you see in the eye is the actual artificial lens implanted where the cataract used to be!

THIS is amazing. I can see the cloudy streaks. Will that allow for good vision?

It all fits perfect in the eye. Correct me if I'm wrong. That surgery was clearly a success. I'm sure he will do just fine.

Nop. I just read there were complications........I hope he is doing much better now.

The lens implant has done well.  All the complications have caused us all to be distracted from the cool new high tech procedure, but as they can see in there now, they report it is just fine.  wheww..
