A bit tired of Hot! Hot! Hot! .....And Humid! Trying to recall the cold in WI to cool my bones. I so remember this rain and fog that caused the heavy ice than frost on the trees. Brrr! Guess I'll take Hot!
This is a beautiful picture Tuck. I love to watch the snow falling. This is of course if I have no where to go and just stay home to enjoy it. The ice on the trees is so pretty. When we have days of snow and ice on the trees it looks magical. It's not if the power goes out though because a tree falls and knocks out a power line. Ha ha!
Thanks Remar! I like this photo too. My body will no longer tolerate the cold. I left WI some yrs ago. The Gulf Coast is my Paradise and SaltLife is my home - but if I said I didn't miss the opposite beauty of WI I'd be a liar. That first snowfall - or being snowed in with the fireplace's warmth, munching on popcorn and watching movies with a pot of chili on the stove - great times and awesome memories. Tobogganing down a favorite hill, ice skating on our lake, downhill skiing and ice fishing - January's "Snowball" Softball Tournaments - all things for the young and healthy - and things I once did. I've gone to the extreme - The sugar white sandy beaches and deep emerald green waters of the Gulf is now my love. However I've always been a Beach Bum at heart! Besides who enjoys those power outages?? :o)
It's best to live where you're the happiest. I know that WI can get cold with snow. I've seen some of your other pictures of where you live now and it truly is paradise.
