she is really cute. they described squeaky as a tortoishell but she doesn't look like all the others I have seen. Could be I am used to seeing the black and she is silver/gray. Doesn't matter we all love them just the same.
There are two kinds of tortie colors; the bold orange and black and the blue/cream color. There's a gene that dilutes colors. Without the gene, a blue cat would be black. A cream colored cat would be orange. There is also lilac which is a pale form of chocolate.
You can't have both diluted and normal colors on the same cat though. Just a little tidbit I learned about cat genetics.
