Oh, his poor eyes. Zylo looks very much like my cat, Jade! The markings and everything. Take a look. Does Zylo have herpes? He looks like Jade when she first came to us with a horrible flare-up :(
No, he has some allergies that cause some drainage, crusties, and redness in the corner of his eyes or around his nose some times, but it has never bothered him and he is otherwise quite healthy and going on 14 years old. The redness around the eyes is pretty common in white Turkish Vans, just like it is with some small dogs like poodles and yorkies.
Oh okay, that's a relief. He's a beautiful cat. Do you have drops for Zylo? We were given some drops for allergies and they seem to work pretty well. More of a soothing drop than anything, but it seems to cut down on the redness.
