I thought it would be good for those facing surgery:)  If I would of been able to see so clearly how quickly it will cover back up I would not have been so worried about hats LOL....I never really wore any of them anyways.  I guess I have the attitude of I am blessed and those scars are only proof.

Well I guess the time of yr plays a factor as well....as I was told to 1- keep it clean, so I wore my hat and also not let the sun  on the scar...so again I  wore my hat.I still wear my hat in the summer as I need the brim....this is something I always did...I need a brimmed hat and sunglasses to avoid HA's

I have not been hanging outin the sun since I have been spending most of my time in the recliner lol

And it's 80 degrees here and they said ski type hats...would get more stares than the car haha

I guess because of the tight weave (staples) and super stretchy....it wouldn't matter now.

Right father surgery the hats drove me nuts....didn't like it touching my head

I didn't wear them then either....in fact I had a scarf I used post op.....a silky one....

I would think the tight weave could get caught in the staples....my hat was great in that it was not tight  at all....and did not rub against my incision.
