I remember when you put up your photo, it was around the same time I posted these photos. It was so weird. Even someone commented to me that it was the same as on your profile... Must be a Swedish thing... :-) My mom used to say : 'Coincidences that are not coincidences.' A lot of connection going on there, I love that kind of stuff, too. It shows how little control we have over things in life and that there is definitely a higher power at work.

Yes, I know. My Mormor wrote to me in her letter.... "Jetzt möchte ich Dir den kleinen St. Göran zu Weihnachten schenken." And the letter had a Xmas stamp saying God Helg  Sverige 1969-1970. The praying Virgin Mary on the left top and St. Göran on his horse and the dying dragon on his back. She always paid attention to all details, being a typical artist. She was a sculptor and a painter, daughter of Swedish painter Knut Ekwall. She was one of the kindest and most loving people I've known in my life. A great story teller, too.

Well...I don't have any 'dragon stories'...but I have this 'artistic bent, and have always considered 'playing in the mud' [sculpting], as something I would like to do.  I also have this 'curiosity' about painting...and just 'creative stuff'!  I've written since I was a child, poems, prose, submitted a short story at one time, interviewed that musician [I mentioned in a previous message to you. who I was involved with for 12 years - fairly prominent in this country, and actually he played worldwide too], anyway, did the interview in bed one morning, while we were having coffee, and it was published in an 'entertainment' newspaper a friend of mine was starting up...don't know if that really counts...cause it was 'toomuch fun'!  LOL

P.S.  What 's the significance of the brooch/pin?  AND...you have HOW MANY SISTERS??????  Are there brothers too?  My goodness, the Swedes are prolific...and, another thing, I also believe in "no coincedences"...and is your background Catholic?...sounds like it...mine too.

You can read up about the myth of St. George and the dragon. HCV is also called the dragon, so we are all dragon slayers. St. George was the master in slaying dragons. Comeagain misunderstood. We are not 8 sisters. My grandma has 5 granddaughters, but somehow she chose to give the pendant to me. So it was no coincidence, me being the only one having hcv in the family and she gave me this in 1969. Anyway, I am the youngest of 4 children of my mother. From my mom we are two girls and two boys. My dad had another daughter, so I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My ancestors backgrounds are protestant.
