LOL! Yeah, it's right up there with the time DH broke his pelvis in a bike accident. This was back when you could smoke in a hospital room. He kept asking for pain shots and passed out with a lit cigarrette in his hand. Finally woke up thinking, "Why is my arse so HOT?" and realized the bed was a smoking coal all around his body. With the broken pelvis, he couldn't move, so he doused the bed with the water in the bedside pitcher and passed out again. He was summarily cut off all pain meds and sent home the next day for his mother to deal with his misdemeanors. And the answer is: NO. I didn't know him back then!
