Back in Swampy's past, he was a Biblical translation major. Here are some of the basic tools: a bible (on the left), a lexicon (on the right), pictures of illuminated manuscripts (useful to help you decide what museums to visit), and a grammar book.

What makes a person become a biblican translation major?  I never even knew that major existed....

Swampy went to a Big 10 university, and they tend to offer such programs.

Swampy took this major to learn more about the world around him, and to learn a language.

It was hard, but fun.

Cool... Wish I could sit still enough to have gotten through college. I love to read, but hate to just sit there attempting to fain interest in someone else talking...
