The doctor programming the 7T machine sent me three jpeg files today of my brain - all of the same slice. There was no additional information with the file so I cannot tell you anything more. This is the first one.
For reference, the old picture of my brain on drugs was done on a 1.5T with contrast. The scans on the 7T were done without a contrast agent.
You gave me an idea - I should turn it into a clock!!!! a pair of hands and a battery in the back would do the trick- my MIL still has one of those cyprus clocks from 30 years ago. one of the few family heirlooms :-)
I guess it's a nice picture, though honestly, I don't think it does your wit, smarts, or compassion a lick of justice. Other than a clock, it may also make for a good Rorschach test. I see a butterfly on a lilly pad. Sideways, I see an hour glass near an active Tesla coil.
There won't be a report because this study is for the fine tuning of the machine. Since we already know I have MS there is no analyzing or reading that needs to be done. My neuro does have access to all of the pics and perhaps he will tell me about them the next time I'm in there - which isn't until July. I hope I have no need to see him sooner. :-)
Please make a clock out of this picture. Think of what a conversation piece it would make.
What I cannot figure out by what I see, if the little black straight lines all over the brain, that are small. I wonder what those are?. They are so straight, maybe they are artifacts or something about the brain that none of us know about yet.
You do have a very nice blacksmiths "anvil." Very sexy....LOL
