My son has been on Strattera 18mg for two months now and the dr upped it to 25mg 4 days ago moods are worse cant sleep and can be triggered with anything to lash out on me.  Is it the meds can the dose change go into effect that quick

im adhd with rage disorder

if they use the wrong drugs it magnifies the disorder and can increase the rage

also diet no not the hippie or all those goofy diets but simple changes

i drink distilled water/ add adhd is a chemical imbalance in the brain the more chemicals you add to the mix the worse it is

diet caffeine free pop is what i drink only once a week or so

same with my tea

only homemade made from scratch food pre made hamburger helper processed foods

that made a good difference in the way i feel

cut sugars sweets and make sure 3 meals a day if your hungry you get grouchy less ability to focus lots of problems

3 meals even if just a sandwich changes how my day goes

and i recommend a shrink not gp doctor

a shrink is trained more than a regular overworked doctor

my shrink found bipolar with bad rage anger problems

6 years ago today meds and a counselor

my parents who never say much positive

mom said one day im proud of you there's such a difference i crapped myself

never heard anything like that my whole life

Yes, it seems he is over the top.  Tell your doctor as soon as possible.
