I have been experiencing severe immunity to vyvanse as well but it does not appear to be too common
thanks for the comments. Let us know what the psychopharmacologist says. Do you get a good nights sleep?
Hi. Vyvanse has been a miracle-worker for me. But I WILL say this- I too have experienced diminishing returns on it's effectiveness. Or rather- on the amount of time it's effectiveness lasts. I'm on 50mg/day, and that dosage used to do well all day pretty much, whereas now, it tends to wear off by late afternoon. I COULD go up to as high as 70mg, but then what? That's the highest dose there is.
Luckily, I have an appointment with my psychopharmacologist this week coming up.
Hey Linz, my psych had switched me to Vyvanse when it first came out, and at my next appointment I asked to be switched back to Adderral XR. The vyvanse did not work much at all for me, if anything it made me worse. So now I'm back on Adderral, and doing alright, or as alright as I can be doing (unfortunately meds don't make everything ok). I heard through the grapevine that sometime in the future Adderral's patent or FDA regulation (or something like that) is expiring, which was the reason for the Vyvanse coming out. So... I don't know. I would talk to your doc, you definitely are not the only person who has experienced dissatisfaction with Vyvanse. Good luck!
