2500 $ psychoeducational evaluation?

I have a Psychologist quoting 2,500$ for a Psycho Educational evaluation that includes 6 hours sessions with the kid and 2 hours with the parent

I am trying to find why my Freshmen son is not showing interest in studies and dropping in grades
