If you are a part of his hippa consent, you can ask to speak to his doctor so they understand the whole situation of abuse going on. Sometimes a doctor's best source about trouble brewing with a patient is indeed their spouse. good luck
Not sure what you want to to stop (everything?). People with adhd self medicate. If the vyvance is helping him with his adhd, that might be the best thing for him! The pk's are very difficult to get off of and you probably need professional help for that. But, as you have seen in the news there have been a lot of deaths lately due to overdoses of pk's and the government is pouring money into helping people get off them. So your doctor might have newer ways to help. If he is following the legal prescriptions for pk, that is one thing. If he has multiple prescriptions, that is illegal and should be reported to his doctor/pharmacy. And, if his doc is just handing out the meds like crazy, that can be reported. I would make sure you have the overdose medication handy in the house. And, of course, alcohol is always difficult to get off of and usually also requires professional help.
In short, I don't think there is a lot you can do without professional help. Well finding and attending an Al-Anon group would be very helpful for you. The pk's are probably the most dangerous. Hope this helps a bit.
