Confusing Results

I have had mild hypothyroidism which started as a child. Have a family history of endocrine disorders on both sides of the family. My first TSH test was 4.15 (tested at age 23), my 2nd test was october 2008 (28), since december last year I have had my hands swell, developed rhinitis to an extent that I cannot wear my contact lenses, I developed aching and pain in my lower back, for the last two months have not been able to sleep through the night. These are all new things which made me want to test my adrenal function.
My GP sent me for tests two weeks ago at 7.20 am in the morning during the follicular phase of my cycle- 7th day) I am 29 years old.
On a general note my TSH has come down to 2.76, I have had 2 "hyper" episodes in the past at age 13 and age 19 both involving rapid weight loss first 10kg and then 14kg.
Are these test results normal and should I have any other tests done?

I am not on any meds, doctors in South Africa are incredibly strict. My TSH has tested above 4 twice but at the time our reference ranges were 0.1-5.5 so no treatment, this is the first time that I have tested below 4 and since it is now in the reference range my doctor isn't concerned. I have had two hyper episodes before so I may possibly be going that way... but I don't know. The problem is the allergies, allergy medication doesn't work and I have had different reactions - hayfever for the last 4 months, hands swelling, throat closing.
The only allergies I have ever had are iodine and milk now I am having multiple ... I just want my body balanced so I can feel normal

It looks as the cortisol is low for a morning draw. With you TSH reading of 2.76 you could be feeling hypo symptoms too.

What meds are you on?
