Can you help me figure out if I have a problem with my cortisol levels?

I just came back for blood testing. I had to take 2 dexamethasone pills a night before & did not eat for 12 hrs. I took the test in the morning. I think I may have Cushing Syndrome.

I also had Cushing's.

Your doc gave you the high dose dex test - is that your first test? That is an odd first test... Any other blood urine or saliva testing?

You did not suppress - but I cannot remember (ACK!!!) if you made the magic number - you are close but it might be 3.8 (the range is for normal testing).

If that is  your only test, your doc is an endummy and you have to find another. You need to find someone to test you properly. There are some links in the health pages to help you determine how to test. Error is all over and if you don't do it right, it is crazy.

I personally failed every stim test. I had pit Cushing's. It is a better test of location (source) than elimination.

I hate dex - and it has a long half life so now you have to wait a long time to test.
