Stressed out

I'm feeling worried about these conditions. I'm not sure what to do. Cushing's and addisons's are very scary to me. I have been doing a lot of reading on both conditions... Could it be that my sleep rhythm is just off? Or that my panic disorder is the reason for the high/low levels of cortisol? I'd really hate to think it's something more. I have talk to a few people how have these conditions and they have given me tons of info. I can see many of the symptoms that describe how I'm feeling, but so many are also related to stress, anxiety...Am I worrying for nothing? It's very hard to get a diagnosis for cushing's, many tests need to be done.

Margypops: I have been given 2 different types of supplements. I've been taking them daily, it's been about a week now. My naturopath dr. prescribed them. What kind are you taking? Mine are both adrenal support/healthy adrenals.

Enzyme: Wow that's great that your son's anxiety and stress has disappeared. I like hearing about success stories. I have been dealing with panic and anxiety so long I'm positive it's taken it's toll on my body, especially the adrenals.

I am taking Adrenal capsules from my local Natural remedy store and is is also Homeopathic,I feel a lot better in the 2 eeks I have been taking them, if you are seeing a Doc for your symptoms you may want to ask him if you are alright to try supplements before you do..

I can't speak for others, of course, but I can tell you that pretty much all of my son's anxiety and stress disappeared after he was put on hydrocortisone to raise his low cortisol level. He started thyroid med at the same time, and had problems with his heart rate for a few months afterward, and he even had a couple of panic attacks during this time, which I believe were directly related to how the replacement hormone meds. were affecting him.

So, I believe panic attacks, anxiety, and an inability to deal with stressful situations, can be caused by adrenal hormone loss, as my son's situation showed.
