I'm currently 18 years old and my hair used to be really thick, especially when I was 14 and 15 years old. When I was 16 my hair started thinning a bit and then a year later (when I was 17) my hair started thinning a lot more on the top of my head, to the point where you could easily see through my scalp. My hair is so thin that I'm unable to comb my hair up, I always have to wear it down. I don't know what I can do, I'm most likely going to lose my hair. Is there any way of stopping the thinning or any way to get my hair thicker than it is now? I've never been to a doctor about this because it's embarrassing and I don't know if they could really do anything.
