Thanks for the insight. They ran tests and checked my thyroid. The #'s came out fine for the thyroid ... as well as everything else. I'll keep the diet in mind and definitely ask out perimenopause. I'm thinking of doing a cleanse as well. Thanks for the encouragement.
Sounds like your hormones are starting to change. Perimenopause can last up to 13 years (the # changes depending on the source). It's a common time for the thyroid to go "Kaplooey!" too. Food intolerances (like gluten or milk) can cause all of the above too as can so many other things. It doesn't sound like anything serious, but things are out of whack! No one will be able to tell you exactly what is causing these symptoms. But you can start by maybe eating a low carb diet (like Atkins or South Beach) to help straighten out your hormones, etc. Talk with your doctor and see what he says. Diet has a major impact on hormones, intestinal issues, etc. We would all like a quick fix pill, but lifestyle changes can fix the problem more often than not. Hang in there.
