gettin worried again!

Firstly last year about 8 months ago my thumb starting twitching constant for a week and then a lot for 2 months.. I went to neurologist, had EMG"s and everything, was diagnosed with Benign faciculations, but then reccently my left foot started to twich in one spot for constantly for over 2 weeks, then started going away, went to neurologist she said i was completely normal and need to see someone about my obsession with ALS... Then I was ok for a week, now twitching has stared again in my foot (started realyl badly after a trip to hot pools)! NO weakness at all but constant twitching, i take magnesium every day, I just don't understand why my muscles do this!!!!!!! Any help is welcome please I get so worreid about my health it consumes my life.. If I didn't have the twitches I would be extremely happy - has anyone had this or have advice getting desperate considering my neuro and family think i'm a loony : )

Thanks for leaving a comment. I read everyone's posts on this forum (Which is probably about me being a bit OCD) but all these people seem to have such anxiety over this! I think there needs to be more infomration about BFS then we wouldn't get so incredibly worried! No i do not have muscle weakness but i wish there was something i could do to stop the constant twitching!! I"m so far trying acupuncture and physio (massage) I think that going to a chinese herbalist would be worthwhile to (anyone's whose reading with similar symptoms) in the mean time i'm trying to not obsess about it by working, Hopefully my mind accepts the twitching one day : )

you will not ever be diagnosed with ALS until, and unless, you have muscle weakness (and trust me, it will be noticeable). bfs is not that uncommon and can cause twitches everywhere. so please put your mind at rest and try to detach from the anxiety around the twitches. please live each day to its fullest and don't let worry consume you. best of luck-
