In the past few months our Leopard Gecko has had 2 occasions where it would get VERY big, looking pretty much bloated. i was told that giving it a shallow luke warm bath might help if it was constipated, so i started to do that 2 times daily. Once, when i was picking him up from the water he squirmed more so than normal, so i get a more firm grip on him, and kinda squeezed a clear water-like fluid out of his butt. so, just to see if it would happen again, i gave him another gentle squeeze and, sure enough, he more or less pee'd out this clear fluid til he was NOT bloated anymore, so more or less i "juiced" him... i thought he was better and no big deal, just had some water retention or something... about 3 weeks past and he was fine when he got bloated again... i waited about a 3 days or so to see if he would let it out of his system himself, like if he just needed to poop. he didnt, so i repeated the previously mentioned process: set him in a luke warm bath for about 5 minutes and gave him a gentle squeeze. SURE ENOUGH, clear water-like fluid came out of his butt... can anyone EXPLAIN what is going on with him, and if so, what could/should we do to make him better. he doesnt seem to have any other symtoms, he doesnt eat much when he is bloated (i think due to the sensation or discomfort of feeling full), but he eats after he gets "juiced." we feed him mealwarms, crickets, and waxworms on occasion, ALL purchased at Petsmart. he isnt lethargic really. between "juicings" he has pooped many times and has also shed once. he has variation in temp, we keep it around 83 degrees at day and down to the low 70's in his tank at night. he has light variation too. i cant think of anything else that might seem important to diagnose him. he is alone in his tank aside from when a cricket is in there with him.
