Pain at night when sleeping

I'm a 32 male who's dealing with GERD and I've been on H2 blockers and PPI for 5 months and anti depressants call amtriptyline. I'm off  meds now but I've been having muscle aches and pains for about two months now. It's real bad at night when I'm sleeping or sitting for a long time especially in my butt. My doctor said it's RLS know as restless leg syndrome and arthritis. I've never had this problem before until I started taking these meds but now I'm off of it. Could this be a side effect from the meds or is this something else
