Is this a sign of arthritis?

Hello. Recently (about 3 weeks ago) I noticed that I had a red raised area on the side of my left pinky. It was almost as if I had hit it against something and this was the response from that. However, it stayed that way for a couple of weeks, and before it was completely gone, another one popped up on my right hand, and shortly after, two more on the same hand but all on different fingers. I asked my dad about it (he is a chiropractor) and the only thing he could think of was arthritis. I can't really say I can relate to all of the arthritis symptoms though, as there is no joint pain, no limited mobility, and the finger itself isn't swollen, just the raised area that is red.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if any more information is needed. I have included a picture to see what exactly it looks like.

Going to the doctor is the obvious thing, and I will surely do it. But I just wanted to get some input because I can't seem to place this anywhere and arthritis at the age of 22, and considering that I exercise frequently and am very health conscious about my diet, seems unlikely but scary.
