I just ordered a pair on clearance today! Hope to have them next week and will let you know what I think. Anyone else got them or ordering some?
Where did you order them from? Zappo's? I don't even know what size to try....probably get 1 in each size and send 1 back but that's $500...boggles the mind LOL!! Yes, I saw some on clearance. They all look so bulky and u-g-l-y. Of course if they help with walking......
I found some through a link on Amazon - Bliss is the place I ordered from. Zappos is great! I have ordered lots from them. They just did not have the discontinued pair I wanted in my size :)
I guess I am use to big, bulky shoes. I wear a lot of birks and dansko and they all are chunky - but so am I so I guess I just look balanced :)
Did your shoes come yet? How are they?
I just got the MBT shoes and they are too small so have to send them back. Wore them a bit around the house and they seem comfortable but I'm having a good foot day...lol. Am ordering the next size and will see how that works. Tell people to get one size larger than what they usually wear. I did see that notation in a lot of the feedback but wasn't sure, etc.
LOL, I just sent you almost the exact same message! 1/2 size up worked well for me...
I had never heard of MBT shoes until I saw this post and googled them! I am very curious to know how they work out for you both. I feel like I have plantar fasciitas in both of my feet. I have inserts that help, but not a lot. I went to a PT and he used sound waves or something that seemed to help, but too expensive.
The shoes make you put your heel down first... would that be good for plantar f? I suggest you order some (in the next size bigger than you usually wear) and try them around the house. If they hurt, etc. send them back for a refund. I got mine from Footwearetc.com cuz they had ones I liked on sale ($169) but had to reorder because of the size and haven't gotten the new ones yet.
I too suffer with plantar and inserts bother my feet. The BMTs seem to be fine for plantar. There are other shoes that are less expensive that work well, too. Dansko, Birkenstocks, Tatamis among others. If you go to the Dansko website it will locate a store near you that carries them.
