I , have had both hips replaced, one in o9 and the other in feb 10. This may sound like a stupid question but here goes. The other day was leaving work when thunderstorm came up, decieded to wait it out inside. Someone asked me, should you go out in storm with hip replacements. Aren't you like a lightening rod just waiting to get zapped. Now I never thought about it till then. I would assume that all is fine with that, or am I wrong.

Just the opposite, I'm shrinking. Two years ago I was 5 foot 7, now I', 5 foot 5 in a half. INbetween the chemo, menopause and the two hip surgeries, I lost a inch and a half

I'm not an expert but I wouldn't think you'd be a target unless you are the tallest thing around.
