Hello I'm 16 years old & I just found out I'm pregnant. What do I need to do?  So I know my baby's safe.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

It can be very stressful and difficult to be pregnant, let alone to be a teenager and pregnant.  So, you need to see your doctor for a checkup.  If you do not have an ob/gyn, then see your regular doctor and he or she can refer you to someone.  You can also look for a clinic in your area.  Your doctor can provide you with a lot of resource material and information to help you understand what is going on in your body and the changes that you will be going through.  You will need to make sure that you are eating well, avoiding alcohol, recreational drugs and tobacco, and taking care of yourself.   The doctor will probably give you a prescription for some prenatal vitamins that you will need to take every day.  I hope this info helps.  Good luck.
