we have tried this doctors dont have an answer.
What does his doctor say about his level of control of it? If he is in control of it, try using positive reinforcement. Something such as telling him that if he goes 5 days straight without an accident, he'll get a small prize. The more days in a row he goes accident free, the better the prize. Our 5 year old was wetting the bed every night and this worked with her. It took her a couple of months to get the big prize. This is all assuming he has the ability to control this.
when he was constipated all the time he was not soiling his pants but after doctors put him on mirolax he started soiling now he does it all the time all day long. i have and there not really sure. My son nos when he has to go he will not run to toliet he will just go. I just dont understand why he has to go so many times a day he has been tested for food allery but wasnt allergic to anything. i took him off whole milk and he drinks lactose free milk.
Has he ever been continent of bowel? In other words, is his soiling a new thing or has he always soiled his pants? Have you talked to his doctor (pediatrician, neurologist) about whether or not he has physical control over his bowels?
