Hashi and tinitus

Hello everyone,

I have read that Hashimotos could lead to tinitus in some people.  My question is, has anyone had tinitus on here, and if so, how did it go away?

thanks

Aw, sorry to hear that!  Have you been to an ENT?  I'm amazed that you've had it so long and nobody can do anything...that really stinks!

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that your tinitus won't go away.  I have had it in the past, but it was luckily very short lived and went away on it's own.  I do get a deep itch in my ear frequently, but I doubt that's because of the Hashi's, etc.  It seems to come & go on it's own.  I wish I knew how to get rid of that as well.  There's a lot of information out there if you google tinitus and Hashimoto's, but nothing seems to offer anything for relief.

Do you have any other symptoms of low thyroid levels?  I sometimes think doctors see that you're within what they call the normal range, and it's just not really "normal" for some.  If there are other symptoms, I'd ask if there was any room for adjustment without making you hyper.

Sorry, wish I could help more with this one.

Lori
