CSF Leak through nose

I was doing a little wrestling with my brother yesterday, he got me in to a few headlocks, trying to make me tap out, but I lifted him up a few times with most of my neck and upper back muscles and slammed him on the ground (it wasnt too high though). After the 3rd round or so, I escaped out of another headlock and as I was escaping, bright yellow watery fluid immedietely exited my nose. I read that this is cerebralspinal fluid (spelling?). I am not sick so it cant be an infection. It is day 2, I woke up, and about 1ml came out of my nose again after bending over. There was no previous indication of anything in my nose.. Will this heal on its own? The area where my spine is in between the top of my shoulder blades feels different, somewhat inflamed all the way up to where my neck ends at the back of my head. The area where my spine is in between the top of my shoulder blades feels very tight all the way up to where my neck ends at the back of my head

Thanks for your response = ]. I am not having any headaches, I felt a very feint, barely noticable headache when I woke up, but Ive been moving around all day so far and havent felt a thing. I never, ever get infections so I'm not sure what a sinus infection would feel like. The discharge didnt have the consistency of nasal mucus, it was pure, bright yellow water.

If this is CSF leakage caused by trauma, you should have the injury evaluated.

Are you having headaches? One of the most common symptoms of CSF leakage is a headache that lessens while lying down.

It may be that you have a sinus infection, which would explain the yellow color of the nasal discharge. CSF is normally clear; yellow indicates some bleeding/trauma several days prior.
