Well I went to the docs today 128 dollars for that and 48 in scripts. I looked at going to a family clinic that would cost less but the don't like to treat people with cronic pain so I was forced to go to the same doctor. I think its crap I don't know what to think other than I am gettin really depressed about it. Thank yall for your posts they helped more than you know . Cindy Loo
Thank you for the replys. I set up an appointment with him tomorrow but it is going to cost me 200 plus. I settled with the car insurance company 2 years ago so they can't do anything. I have done PT. I have done shots in my back (corisone) and have spent a lot of time and money for chiropractors. I guess I am going to have to see what he says tomorrow. I would think that if he was to take me off this medication that he would at least taper me off them or have me try something else. I will let you know what he says.I just don't know what to say to him I am so upset with him. But I guess with a little faith I hope to be ok. If not I might talk to our Salvation Army. I live in a huge Morman community and I don't think they do much for people with back pain. Ha ha. I am just scared. My husband and I are already arguing because today I couldn't take care of my kids as well as I normally do. Well anyways Ill let you know! TNX Cindy Loo
I would call back and talk to him or the nurse... they should work with you... I just lost my insurance and my doctor is working with me... don't loose hope just yet, I would call the office and talk to someone for sure. Good luck!
I don't understand why your car ins. doesn't cover this. Yours a No Fault state? If so, your personal injury protection would cover all your medical from a car accident. I'm in Michigan & here medicaid or medicare won't touch a car acct. patient. U didn't say what tests he ordered, what is damaged? Did he talk surgery? PT? Changing or weening off meds? I'd give his office a call & ask his nurse if u can work out something. But I don't understand why so long w/o other stuff being done. If you still can't go in, there are free clinics but usually thru churches. A social service dept office used to have them posted for its clients. But I know there are still free clinics in my city, and Salvation Army will help sometimes too. GB
