squishy lump on bra line between shoulder blades

I noticed it about a year or 2 ago and it's about the size of a 50 cent piece.  The lump itself isn't painful but I often constantly have really bad back pain in center of my back on my spine between my shoulder blades.  I haven't been in any traumatic accidents or anythjbg like that. I just have a always had a lot of pressure/pain on the spine between my shoulder blades and it showed up one day. Any ideas what it could be?

Hi!

I'm a male with degenerative bone disease,...I have had numerous 'cysts' down the length of my spine for many years. With what I've found with me is that pieces of my spine were braking off, small chips if you will. I have had to take a razor blade and cut them open myself from my lack of insurance and they hurt so bad. If anyone in your families medical history has had bone issues, with you being a female, you may have Osteoperosis. When I finally was able to have insurance, disability, and seen a GP, he said as long as there not painful I shouldn't worry about them. You should be seen by a GP and dig deeper into it. Something has caused it and you need to find out what. If you don't, they'll continue. God Bless!

Sebaceous cysts are benign growths found under the skin. The sometimes grow from a hair follicle, or can be started with an injury.

Also known as epidermoid cysts, these benign cysts are removed with excision.

There is no telling what this particular lump may be without an examination. You need to see your doctor for a diagnosis.
