I am hoping that by now you have found some help for your medical problem.  If not, I would have to agree with member: injection who said, “ditch the chiropractor”.  While chiropractic care does work for some people, it is an alternative form of medicine.  Many people these days get an injury and do not know where to turn.  Unfortunately, many rush right for an alternative medical provider.  These people, while professionals, are not as qualified as a traditional physician.  I think that you had the right idea of thinking you need to see a Neurologist though.  If it is a Rheumatologist is the answer, the Neurologist will be able to refer you, but from your description, a Neurologist sounds like the right specialty for you.  I hope this was helpful to you and that you find the mecial attention you need.

hi jean, first advise from me ,ditch the chiropractor ,there wolves in sheeps clothing looking for another spinal worrier to walk through the door,go see your gp,and get a referal to rhumatologist,he will evaluate your symtoms and carry out further tests if he desires, until you have a sound prognosis, there is nothing to go on,chiropractor cant give you one he isnt qualified, speculation doesnt take away your fears or the pain, your elbow isnt nuerological i can tell you that ive been there and it does not have symptoms there,so cheer up a bit jean your going to be fine.
