Nerves that serve the arms and shoulders originate in the neck. Your injuries may go beyond simple muscle sprain. You would be wise to see a doctor who can order diagnostic films.
Hi...with whip lash, this is muscles that span ur both shoulders and go up ur neck....these muscles twist and turn opposite of the way they should be, so pain can radiate from where u feel ur injury occurred,.
Were u treated and DX'd with whip lash? PT should be able to help u if this is the only injury u have,.,..I had whip lash and u can have pain all down ur back, up ur neck, thru ur shoulders etc...so see a Dr tell them what all is involved and see if PT might help.
Good Luck and keep us posted on ur progress.
