Chronic Neck Pain and other pains.

Ive been having pain in my neck since a few years ago. I do not know why it started. My neck is always stiff and cracks alot. I get headaches from it when its hurting bad. Pains always worse in the morning. It also hurts at my job. Im a nail tech. Certain ways i turn my head it sends shocks down my arms. The other problem that drives me crazy is i get muscle spasms in my shoulders, the back of my legs, and my butt(i know that sounds weird). Ive also have had right foot surgery because my foot got deformed and one of the bones came off the joint. Also the tendon thats supposed to be under the ankle bone came on top. I got flat footed on that foot. No one knows what caused it. I was 26 when ive had that done. I also hurt in my knees and both feet, especially when its raining or cold out, or I'm on a long car ride. The muscles in my feet lock up and my big toes go under the little toes. I also get numbness in my feet and then sometimes it feels like its burning, like someone lit a fire under my foot. Sometimes im hurting so bad, more so than other days. All of my pains including neck pain and musclespasms are mostly the right side of my body. All the tests ive had done seem to say im normal. They did xrays of my knees and feet, xray of neck, now twice. Now ive just had an MRI without contrast of my neck and thats normal. Ive been to a rhematologist already, only thing she found was i'm Vitamin D deficient. Now i gotta see a spinal specialist March 13th. She'll probably say nothing is wrong. ive been on how many different pills. So sick of them. None work. Just make me tired. I dont know what to do. I need help.

i have just been found vitamin d deficient. i guess a normal level should be 30-100 and mine is 18. also my creatine levels are low .58 mg/dl. it should be .60-1.20 and my anion gap is low. 1.0 mmol/l. it should be 3-11. According to my research is it says about the liver, and this could mean muscle wasting? is that true? it also says about muscular distrophy too. I dont know. im kinda scared, also they did an emg/ncs test now and that came back i have carpal tunnel syndrome. Ive already had surgery for this a couple years back. is it possible to get it back? Nothing about my neck though was found. I dont know if they are misdiagnosing me or what. It is scary. Thank you so much for answering me back. I appreciate it.

Hi there!

If structural defects, injuries and postural abnormalities have been ruled out; one may consider other causes such as inflammations, micronutrient deficiencies etc. Vitamin D deficiency itself could be responsible for your symptoms. At this stage I would suggest starting vitamin D supplementation and considering an evaluation by a rheumatologist to rule out alternative diagnoses.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
