Pain around tailbone.

In my lower back / tailbone area I have a pain that feels like it has been brused... but I haven't done any activities that would have resulted in injuring that area. It dosen't hurt when I'm sitting all the time...it just tends to flair up and hurt at random times...

The reason I asked those questions is bcuz I wonder if u might want to be checked for tethered cord....the spinal cord attaches to the spinal column at the tail, with a cyst....there is usually a outward sign such as a sacral dimple, hairy patch...etc....many have mild scoliosis....lower back pain, leg pains....and bowel and bladder issues....not all at once of course and some do not have all the symptoms either.

The easy to bruise and slow to heal referenced another condition I was checking and that is Ehlers-Danlos....again, not all with it will have the same symptoms and these r just 2 of many....

May I ask what ur major is?.....what yr u r in?.....I know it is a lot of work, my DD went to 4 yrs to under grad and then did her grad studies as well....I admire the effort that is put into doing well.

But, do not put off taking care of urself...see a dr.

No bladder issues, dimples, easily bruised or a slow healer. I do have lower back pain a times, but I'm thinking that's due to the fact I often slouch, something I'm trying to work on.

Haven't seen a dr. too much college right now. >_<

NE lower back pain?......A sacral dimple?...do u bruise easy?...slow to heal?

There could be a # of things going on....have u been to a dr about this?
