I appreciate your reply. I take premarin for my hormone imbalance - for nearly 1 year.
I have nerve impingement at S1 L5 with pain and numbness down the right leg. Moderate bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. Also endplate sclerosis and edema.
All the typical complaints of someone with Spondylolisthesis, the pelvis clunking is the only non-typical complaint I experience.
Neither of the doctors I've see have any suggestions as to what causes it.
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. At your age a combination of factors may be responsible for the pain. Low estrogen and high FSH could be responsible for pain. Hence you must get a complete hormone panel: estrogen, progesterone, FSH, LH, prolactin, thyroid hormones and parathyroid hormones. Low vitamin B12 and vitamin D could also contribute towards pain.
The other possibility is pinched nerve. Apart from physiotherapy and pain medications, manual therapy and spinal manipulation should be tried. If nothing helps then you may need surgery.
Various sounds coming from pelvis could be due to osteoarthritis, ligament tears or due to ankylosing spondylitis.
You need a comprehensive investigation keeping all the above factors in mind. Take care!
