Trapezius muscle strain recovery time?

How long does it take for a pulled trapezius muscle to heal? I've been in pain for over a week now. It had started to ease but has suddenly become terrible again (despite the fact I've been making an effort to rest as much as possible).

I've had no bruising or swelling that I can tell. And what is the best way to rest the muscle and sleep? Thanks

I also have this sharp pain in the mid and lower trap when I do certain movements, I got it since last week, when I attempted a human flag and felt a little pain to the trap, then the days after it became very painful. Yesterday I felt like I was recovering but this morning I had to crawl out of the bed due to the pain and couldn't properly stand. I hope it will recover fast.
