c1 c2 fusion creaking sound

i had c1 c2 fusion done on sept 09 2008. i had a follow up on sept 26. bones are aligned all is good.  today sept 28 i am hearing some creaking sounds in my neck.  is this normal.  i have very little pain. but am concerned about creaking noise.

hey..  ..all that will go away!  I had all those symptoms.  What hardware do u have?  Why did u need the fusion?  email me at ***@****

i can help u recover . . .i have been through hell with this surgery . . however . . i am fully recovered!

Hi Roxy, I had C1 C2 fusion 4th Nov 2009, I also have creaking & crunching in my neck. A scan on Dec 15th shows things are progressing well so I'm not to worried if that is the only after effect I get.Can I ask you the base & top of my head are numb but sore if that makes sense! almost like a foreign body, it's uncomfortable to rest my head on anything and I have very sharp shooting pains in my face/head . Did you go through the same problems if so how long did it last.

i had c1-c4 fusion done in Nov 2005 and everything went well until this month when i too am having creaking sounds in my neck when i turn too much.
