severe back pain after lumbar fusion from 2 yrs ago

I was wondering if my back pain which my doctor believes is a slipped disk is cause from my lumbar fusion surgery. The slipped disk is located right about were i had my surgery

Yes, your back pain could be related to problems with adjacent discs to the area of your lumbar fusion.  The fused area is not able to assist the body with movement and the additional stress is absorbed by the adjacent discs.  This does put those discs at increased risk.

thanks for replying I hope i get the treatment i need also, I have had doctors give up on me. do you know they usually to for slipped disks im guessing its surgery
