pituitary tumor

I am 18 years old and 27 weeks pregnant. I am diagnosed with a pituitary micro adinoma that measured 2 mm in 2008, since i got pregnant it has grown almost 3 mm my headaches are much worse, unbearable now. It has been hemraging and bleeding. What could happen to me or the baby if it keeps growing? Why is it growing? And why is it hemraging?

Dear Tasyia

Sorry for the delay answering your question.
I agree completely with Rumpled, she is an expert.
Apoplexy can be a problem and you may need surgery. We don't like to do surgery in pregnant women, but sometimes it is necessary.
Have you seen anybody during this meantime?

Please find a pituitary center that has a neuro-endo immediately and bring all your records. When you call, tell them that you are pregnant and you have a growing tumor and possible pituitary apoplexy and need to be seen immediately.
