Facial fuzz or fine white hair post chemotherapy

I am 16 weeks post chemotherapy 1 round of Taxotere/cytoxin I had a severe allergic reaction at the start of round 2 to the Tax.  Doctor change my coctail to abraxane/cytoxin for the next three treatments. I have noticed since my hair is growing back on my head, there is white fur growing on my face (like a babies newborn hair)  it is noticable.  Does this hair eventually fall off or should I shave it?  Please advise.

Dear Sue:  Do not shave it.  This could make the hair more coarse.  This could be several things including hormonal changes and it's difficult to speculate on what the future holds.  In terms of what to do in the short term, you may ask your doctor if it would be safe to wax this.  If you do, you may want to have it professionally done.

I had the same thing and it goes away after a while.
