breast calcifications

what birad category is it when the report says no mammographic evidence of malignancy.I was going every 6 months because of calc. now my report says rountine interval follow up in one year the first time I went was march then sept now my year is up again in march. Is it a 6 month follow up or is it consider a yearly since that is what the report says

Dear vicki53:  A normal mammogram is a BIRAD 1.  No evidence of malignancy.  The recommendation is to follow up one year from the most recent mammogram.

It would mean a  year following your last (most recent) mammogram.
