Burnt My Hand And My Face

Hello!

Last Friday I became ill with the flu. Has I was about to eat some chicken noodle soup, I fainted and the next thing I knew I was on the floor with a burning pain on my face and hand. A few days later some of my scabs were hanging...and I knew I shouldn't have peeled them...but I did..and now I am afraid that my face may scar. I have been applying Vitamin E. But it seems like it caused my face to loosen up more scabs and they fell off. I didn't go to the doctors on the account of I don't have any medical insurance.

Is there a possibility that my face may not scar... I could post some pictures to show someone what it looks like now.  It doesn't look to bad.

Vitamin is going to help the skin heal. Try 100% aloe also. I recently got a burn, from snowmobiling, but its the same type of effect. The old dead skin is going to fall off. Keep the new skin moist with aloe and vitamin e. Bactracin will also help to keep it clean from infection. Don't pick at it. It will soon start to itch, meaning its healing. DO NOT SCRATCH! This will make healing time longer. If you keep using vitamin E and aloe all the time, scarring shouldn't be that big of an issue, unless a deep burn. If it seems like a deep burn, I would go see th doc. Otherwise keep using aloe and vitamin E. I'm not a doctor, but my wounds are still healing and the vitamin e and aloe are doing nicely.

Thank you!

No, It isn't very deep at all...my skin is pink. My mother told me that when it heals it will start feeling itchy! So thanks for the reminder! :-)
Yeah, I just been putting the vitamin E on it. So will see what happens.

I hope your burns will heal soon!
