Share your compassion with children in poverty around the world. Make a tax-deductible donation today to our Christian Disaster Relief Fund.

I am very familiar with this organization. I know people who have worked for this company as well as several friends who sponsor children through this Compassion. They are a good, reputable organization. I've thought about sponsoring a child through them but just haven't done it yet.

Please keep the children in your prayers and also this organization since from my understanding their office in Haiti was located right on the epicenter and was probably hit pretty bad by the earthquake. These are good people who are over there trying to help impoverished children. May God be with them all.

This was just in our paper. Here's some more relief aid organizations accepting donations:

* InterAction has a list of agencies responding and how to donate. Find it at www.interactionorg/crisis-list/earthquake-haiti

* To donate $10 to the American Red Cross, text "Haiti" to 90999. The amount will be added to your next phone bill. The organization is also accepting donations at www.redcross.org

* To find out how to help the International Rescue Committee, visit www.theIRC.rog or call toll free 1-877-REFUGEE

* To donate through Oxfam's emergency appeal visit www.oxfam.org

* To donate to Partners in Health, visit www.pih.org. The group is also looking for surgeons, nurses and other surgical teams that want to volunteer to help.

* To donate to Doctors Without Borders, go to www.doctorswithoutborders.org

I'm so glad they're giving out more ways to help! Just wanted to pass this along. I have some friends who are doing the cell phone one, it's a fast, easy way to donate, but I'm sure any and all would appreciate any help!
Also, World Vision is another good one!

Yes, I know we really do need to help those in Haiti.

I went out with the youth of my church to help raise money for ADRA. www.adra.org

We raised $500 with like 20 of us.

Some slammed the door in our faces but some recognized how much this money is needed to help those in Haiti. God will bless those who share and give.

ADRA will need to spend millions of dollars in the long term; however, ADRA urgently needs $1,000,000 in the next seven days. They have already procured millions of water purification tablets, and four mobile medical units; however, ADRA is still procuring food, generators, tents, and medicines that are desperately needed.

Please please help. What if this was you in this situation?
